Sada Cruzeiro win its eighth Super Cup title by beating Volleyball Renata/Campinas in an exciting final played in São José

Sada Cruzeiro wins Vôlei Renata/Campinas by 3 games to 2 and conquers its eighth Supercopa in the Arena Multiuso of São José

Background: Final at the Multi-Purpose Arena and titles in play
On Friday (23), the Arena Multiuso de São José was once again packed for a night of volleyball party. Sada Cruzeiro and Vôlei Renata/Campinas entered the court with different objectives: the Minero team sought to expand their collection of Supercopa titles, while the São Paulo club tried its first victory in the tournament.

Development: Campinas takes the lead, Cruzeiro draws and has a partial turnaround
Campinas came out on top, winning the first half 25-23. Cruzeiro started by making mistakes in the serve and faced an efficient blockade of the opponent but grew throughout the game. With the attacks of Lucão and Leal, the mining team balanced the dispute and won the next two halves by 25-21 and 25-20.

Elimination: the fourth partial forces fifth and Cruzeiro closes for 17 to 15
The São Paulo team forced the decision by closing the fourth part in 25 to 22. In the fifth half, the miners prevailed 17-15 and lifted the cup.

Rapha: Return after more than three years and dismissal in the decision
The achievement also had a special flavor for the lifter Rapha. After more than three years retired, he returned to court to help Sada Cruzeiro and said goodbye to the team just in the decision.

Current situation: eighth Super Cup for Cruzeiro and Campinas remains without title
With the victory, Sada Cruzeiro won its eighth Super Cup and expanded its collection of titles.
