BACKGROUND: NFL comes to Rio with Cowboys and Ravens
The Dallas Cowboys went to the Nest of Urubu, Flamengo's training center, in preparation for their match against Baltimore Ravens on Sunday (27), at Maracanã.
Development: Schottenheimer praises Flamengo and compares with the fans
The team's coach, Brian Schottenheimer spoke to the press at a press conference before the game and highlighted the structure of Rubro-negro. He mentioned that when passing through the gates one notices a well-consolidated football club, something close to the reality of the Cowboys. In the same speech, he compared the two fans as the most numerous in their respective sports.
Statements: worldwide pressure and desire to reverse the decision
The coach also commented on the pressure on athletes and technical committees. For him, every NFL team and every professional football club lives this charge because the world watches, judges and criticizes. In Schottenheimer's understanding, whoever loves and cares about the team should really charge.
The Dallas Cowboys have not played in a Super Bowl since[16] when they won their fifth and last title to date.[17][18] He cited the desire to make a mark and spoke of winning a world championship, with his goal being Los Angeles on February 14, 2021.[19]
Where the story is now
Until Sunday (27), the Dallas Cowboys' focus is on their game against the Baltimore Ravens at Maracanã in the NFL.[citation needed] The visit to Urubu Nest and Brian Schottenheimer's news conference show how the team tries to use the preseason week to reinforce identity, deal with pressure, and update conversation about fasting since.[24] The next milestone cited by the coach is Los Angeles on February 14,[25] a date that represents the goal of returning to the finals.
