"How much work ahead for Ancelotti": Spanish press criticizes national team after draw

The game

The Seleção Brasileira drew 1-1 with Australia in a friendly international, and the result was not just on the scoreboard: the team's dull performance lit up the alert in the world sports press and, of course, put Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti under direct criticism.

The criticism of the Mark

The Spanish daily Marca was the most forceful in its post-match analysis, saying Ancelotti "still has a lot of work ahead" to improve team performance.

The vehicle's argumentation has two central points. It says, "I don't know what to do".

• Summoning is not enough. There were eight new additions to the final roster, but according to Marca, the key is developing a cohesive and defined style of play something that has not yet materialized.
• The transition is under way, but without practical results. The analysis acknowledges that the Italian coach is working on rebuilding the team, but the fruits on the field have not yet appeared.

The Diagnosis

In the assessment of the Spanish press, Brazil continues with the same face seen in the World Cup: without creativity and lacking tactical organization.

Where the situation is

The draw against Australia reinforces that the transition phase led by Ancelotti has not yet produced the identity of play that fans and critics expect.
